Blended Studio is an exclusive design consortium with an array of different designers and creative vendors, all housed in one design hub.
With the ever changing fashion beauty and home industry we strive to keep our studio updated with fresh, fun and fabulous designs that will interest every individual.
Blended- The Brand is our house brand which is a locally produced modest fashion designer in the beautiful diverse city of Cape Town, offering all glitz, glamour, bridal and sleepwear. Blended – The Brand is the epitome of luxury and exclusivity, with products ranging from bridal sleepwear to exclusive occasion dresses.
Blended...The name
The name “Blended” was born three-fold.
- The collection of different bespoke and luxurious home, decor, clothing, bridal, candle, self-care, luxuries all blended together to form our brand.
- A diversity of women all blended together with one goal and purpose, all having strived to build a business and striving to make things happen.
- Warda and her husband blending together their families and striving as a blended family, making it a success against all odds.
Meet Warda
Having always had an eye and love for everything fashion, beauty, bridal and interior decor, Warda Davids (founder of Blended Studio) studied Patternmaking, Dressmaking and design more than 20 years ago, however family and work became very demanding and she chose to focus on her accounting career, and successfully owns an Accounting practice for more than 10 years.
In 2009 she developed a love for scarf styling and started doing scarf parties for free, showing a group of ladies how to style their scarves for different occasions. Much like a Shzen/ Tupperware party where she provided a wide selection of different scarves to style and purchase. A fun way of inspiring woman to don the beautiful hijab.
In 2010 she decided to pursue her fashion studies again and went to refresh her patternmaking and design skills.
In 2019, Blended was born.
